Lebron Finally Talks: What Team Is He Leaning Toward?

Lebron James was interviewed by Larry King in his home in Ohio for an episode of Larry King Live that will air on Friday, June 4. Some transcripts from this interview came out, and Lebron finally speaks for the first time since the playoffs and tells all about his feelings and which team may have a best chance at grabbing his heart. Read on to find out what team is top in his list.

Though Lebron told Larry King that he’s still not even close to making a decision less than a month away from the big day, July 1, he did say that there is one team that “has an edge” over the others. When asked by Larry King if Cleveland has “an edge going in,” Lebron answered, “Absolutely. Because, you know, this city, these fans, I mean, have given me a lot in these seven years. And, you know, for me, it’s comfortable. So I’ve got a lot of memories here. And so it does have an edge. It’s going to be a very interesting summer and I’m looking forward to it.”

But will comfort be enough to hold him in Cleveland? He still has no idea. In the interview, he speaks about Mike Brown, the playoffs, and the choice he is going to have to make, but he keeps going back to the fact that he has absolutely no idea where he wants to sign. He makes comments during the interview about the Clippers and how nice Los Angeles is as a city. But as he says, “…it’s not always about the city. It’s about winning.”

So, when it comes down to it, and Lebron has to make his decision, he says that it will only be his decision, no one else’s. “It’s going to be me. I’m going to have to sit down and say ‘where do you want to play’?

Let’s hope it’s Cleveland.
