Dark Horse Reveals Frank Miller Artwork from ‘Xerxes’
“Xerxes rose to power in fifth-century-BC Persia and became known as ‘The King of Kings,’ eventually raising and leading a massive army intent on ruthlessly destroying the hated Greeks who killed his father. Xerxes seeks nothing less than to become a god himself — and achieves his wish!”
Dark Horse Comics just revealed the first art from Frank Miller’s upcoming miniseries Xerxes, a prequel to his 300 graphic novel. The image is currently for sale as a lithograph from Dark Horse and depicts the Persian King. The miniseries will soon be adapted into a sequel/prequel to the 2007 Zack Snyder adaption of 300.
